The Classes of Synchronized Door / Interlocking Doors

The interlocking doors can be classified from different perspectives as follows:

1. Classified by opening method:

• Suspended track interlocking door: For this type of interlocking door, the track is installed above the door. The door moves on the track through hanging wheels. The advantage is that there is no track on the ground, which is beautiful and does not affect the cleaning and passage of the ground. There is no risk of tripping. It is suitable for spaces that pursue simplicity and an open layout, such as modern-style living rooms and kitchens. However, suspended track interlocking doors have higher installation requirements and need sufficient top load-bearing capacity.

• Floor track interlocking door: The bottom of the door is installed with a track, and the door slides on the track through the bottom pulleys. Floor track interlocking doors have relatively good stability and strong load-bearing capacity. They are suitable for occasions where the door leaf is relatively heavy or has high requirements for door stability. But the floor track is easy to accumulate dust and is relatively troublesome to clean. Moreover, it may affect the flatness and aesthetics of the ground.

2. Classified by the number of door leaves:

• Two-interlocking door: An interlocking door system composed of two doors. When one door is opened or closed, the other door will move correspondingly. The two-interlocking door has a relatively simple structure and is suitable for places with small spaces and low requirements for opening width, such as small bathrooms and cloakrooms.

• Three-interlocking door: It contains three doors. Usually, when the middle door is opened, it will drive the doors on both sides to move together, which can open the door opening to the greatest extent and make the passage space larger. Three-interlocking doors are often used in areas such as kitchens and balconies that require a larger passage space and lighting.

• Multi-interlocking door: An interlocking door with four or more door leaves. This type of interlocking door can be customized according to actual needs and can meet the use requirements of large spaces or special-shaped door openings, such as partition doors in large conference rooms and exhibition halls.

3. Classified by function:

• Bank interlocking door: Mainly used in financial places such as bank business outlets and vaults. It has high security and anti-theft performance. Bank interlocking doors are usually equipped with complex access control systems, locks and monitoring devices to ensure the safety of funds and personnel. Its design and production need to comply with relevant financial security standards and specifications.

• Anti-tailgating interlocking door: Used to prevent others from following into a specific area. When the first door is opened, the second door will automatically lock. Until the first door is closed, the second door can be opened. This kind of door is often used in cashier channels of shopping malls and supermarkets, and in some places that need to limit the order of people entering and exiting, such as prisons and detention centers.

• Ordinary civil interlocking door: Mainly used in civil places such as homes, offices, and commercial stores to facilitate people's entry and exit and improve the use efficiency of space. Compared with bank interlocking doors and anti-tailgating interlocking doors, its safety level requirements are relatively low, but it also has certain anti-theft and protection functions.

4. Classified by material:

• Stainless steel interlocking door: Made of stainless steel material, it has the advantages of corrosion resistance, high strength, and beautiful appearance. It is often used in places with high requirements for door durability and hygiene, such as hospitals, food processing plants, laboratories, etc.

• Aluminum alloy interlocking door: The interlocking door made of aluminum alloy is lighter in weight, has good corrosion resistance, and is convenient for processing. It can be made into various colors and shapes. It is suitable for the decoration style of modern buildings, such as office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, etc.

• Wooden interlocking door: The wooden interlocking door has a good texture and can give people a warm and comfortable feeling. It is often used in places such as bedrooms and study rooms in home decoration. However, the moisture-proof and fire-proof performance of wooden doors is relatively poor and requires special treatment and maintenance.

• Steel interlocking door: Steel interlocking doors have high strength and good anti-theft performance. They are suitable for places with high safety requirements, such as factories, warehouses, basements, etc.
